My mom had a garage sale last summer in which several families, including ours, brought all of our items together to sell. Well, there was this white wooden rocking chair there. Since my family still doesn't know we are even trying, I told her I wanted it for my classroom. It's been sitting in her garage for almost a year now. Today I brought it home.
I also bought roman shades for the spare room/future nursery's windows. A nice sage green.
I am getting very excited about a medically supported insemination. Something I never thought I would utter, but alas, ideas and ideals change.
I, like B, took some time to check out some donor profiles online. There are basically 5 characteristics I need: IUI, Negative CMV IGG and IGM, RH negative, Caucasian, and positive pregnancies. Ultimately, I would like B to make the decision, but I have chosen some favorites. Has anyone ever worked with the Cryogenics Labs, Inc. in Minnesota? They were one of 3 banks our RE suggested.
I have stopped temping now, until after the HSG. I started pro.vera yesterday, and hopefully will see CD1 within 10 days. Let's get this party started!

So excited for you!
We're having a garage sale like that this summer!
Would your family not be okay with the fact that you're TTC?
We know how it is not to tell your family. The first time we were TTC we told them, and they were up our butts with questions, calling us pretty much everday asking us if it worked or not, etc. It was so hard to tell them that It did not work. Not only was it hard on us to hear that ourselves, but then to have to go and tell your whole entire family becaus they have big mouths. So, this time around we're on the DL --so far it has beenn great. No one expects it, we told everyone that we're not trying until after the wedding. However, if this time works, we'll be ending our 4th month!
We were looking at rocking chairs yesterday, and Laurie sat in one and wouldnt get up. I guess she liked that one. haha.
Well, good luck on this insem.!
Glad the new RE and new protocols are begun--we have very similar donor criteria, btw.
My partner and I are using Cryogenics Labs, as are most of our TTC friend in the Twin Cities. We went with them because they have a buy-back policy. We've been mostly happy with them so far, but their customer service sometimes leaves a lot to be desired.
Good Luck! We're on try number three today and tomorrow.
Moving forward! I think a medically supported try is a positive thing, even though it may not be how we imagined it in the beginning, it's rejuvinating to do something different - and proven! Good luck to you both. I'm so excited for you!
