Guess who's totally bummed?

Oh, that would be me.
We are out this cycle. Apparently my body did not respond to the Clo.mid, and the follicles did not grow as planned. Boo. I am to call on CD1 to get the prescription (upping it to 100mg) and schedule another CD13 ultrasound.
If I do not start by CD30, I will go in for another (unecessary) blood test to determine I am not pregnant, and start on the Pro.vera again.
It seems like its been so long since we have even had the possibility of being pregnant. I hate it.
I guess I can stop temping and testing now. I'm so frustrated and disappointed and sad and the ovi.drel trigger shot is just mocking me in my fridge!

So sorry that you had a poor response. I hope that this is a short hiccup and that you get to properly try again soon.

Oh no, I'm so sorry. You must be unbelievably frustrated. Hopefully next cycle will end on a much happier note.

Hi Jules - it's me J. S said that you should challenge them - meaning if you didn't respond to 50mg what makes them think you would respond to 100mg? Does the Dr. really think that this is the most aggressive approach? Have you asked about the other infertility meds? We know someone with psos who did not respond to clomid and the trigger shot at all (S responded but no baby) but when she took it up a notch she got pregnant. She did the injections. You should research how many people actually get pregnant on clomid - when we found out it was a very very low percentage. I know your cycles are so long - you might want to dive into the aggressive stuff so the waiting, disapointment, and frustration don't wear you down....like it has to us.

Love J and S

I am sorry you are out this cycle. I did not respond to 50mg of clomid but I did to 100 and to 150. I am sorry this is taking so long and it is absolutely unfair. I hope your period comes soon.
