11 weeks

We are so very close to that semi-safe zone, I can almost feel it. It was most wonderful to hear the heartbeat on Monday. The nurse was able to find it so quickly and it was such a strong beat. Very comforting. And then, to see Sprout dancing around on the monitor screen. Priceless.

As far as my body is concerned, I have been feeling a lot better than the first 9 weeks. My nausea is pretty much gone and I am even a little less tired. My emotions are still high and can cry at the silliest things. For example, B heated me up a piece of leftover pizza last night as we were waiting for our artichokes to cook. I may have teared up a wee bit when she brought me the plate. She asked me if it was ok to laugh, and I said sure. These emotions are crazy, you have to laugh.

As far as food cravings go, its mostly fruit...and watery fruit at that. Watermelon is my best friend.

We picked up 3 pairs of pants on Monday, so I am more happy with my wardrobe choices. Since B also got me a be band, some of my old pants are working too. Whew. What a relief!

In school news, I teach today and have a sub tomorrow for a PD day. The kids are off Friday and Monday and then we go to camp on Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a sub on Thursday (12w appointment) and then teach on Friday. Overall, not counting camp, I have 8.5 days left in the classroom. Woot!

Ahhh...the end of the semester is always such a lovely time. How great that you have so many things to break up your last two weeks!

I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better as you near your transition into the second trimester. 11 weeks is a great milestone!
