left of school this year.
Amazing how time can move so slowly, but yet so quickly as well.
Next week is only 3 days with kids and the following week is Memorial Day, so we have Monday off and go to 5th grade camp for 2 days. Then I am off the day after camp for our 12 week dr. appointment. Woot!
As far as symptoms, these past 3 days I have felt really good, which kind of scares me, since I have gotten used to feeling a little crappy on a daily basis. I have been a wee bit emotional, as referenced in B's last post, but I haven't been nauseous like I was before. The Dr. did say it would start to get better this week, but I didn't believe her. Maybe I should trust the Dr. =)
I have also had this weird fluttering about 5-10 times a day in my heart/neck region. I questioned Dr. Goo.gle, and it seems pretty normal, but I will mention it to the Dr. at our next appointment.
I am also wondering if we will be able to hear the heart beat at our appointment. We saw it on our u/s, but I would love to hear it. I am guessing they don't bring the doppler out for every visit, but what has been your experience? Remember, we are dealing with an OB/gyn office, not our RE.
It's now time to feed the doggies and go to bed. I wish B was home, but she is out with a HS friend.

Same here.. 14 days left! Time flies with field trips.
whoohoo, here comes summer! I'm not sure what it would be like in the Ob/Gyns office, I'd say ask for it, tell them that you havnt heard it before, and you'd like to! No harm is asking..
my daughter just went monday to her 12 week appointment and yes they hear the heart beat so I'm sure you will too
Yes, the first thing they will do is listen to the heartbeat! No worries everything sounds like they are going great. Enjoy not feeling so terrible. And congrats on 14 days!
They used the doppler from week 12 and on. However, they couldn't find the heartbeat at our 12 week appt. because of the babies position and it being a little too early.
Yeah, I think it is pretty normal at the 12 week mark to get to hear the heartbeat. And, I agree, if not, ask...all they can say is no.
