So sorry about the car. It totally sucks. We drove a 2008 D*dge C*ravan recently (when we had to move a piano) and we really liked it...and this is from Toy*ta loyalists..we were surprised we liked it so much!
SO sorry about the engine failure. I would honestly just recommend something safe. SAFETY first - especially looking at the future with a wee one. Hope you guys find something you both feel good about.
