I have to have a CD3 ultrasound. I'm not a fan of this. Tell me its not as bad as I am imagining...

It's not a bad thing at all. It will seem far worse to you than it does to the people who are giving you the test. they do it all the time. And after your first one you won'r even think about it anymore. Good luck!
Ah yes... I had a CD2 sono this go 'round... where they line the table and the floor with paper towel thingies, as if they are anticipating a giant mess... but, honestly, it's not so bad. Make sure you go potty beforehand and remember... they see/do this alllll the time! Good luck! :)
I was horrified when I found out I'd have to do a day 3 ultrasound... until it happened and both the nurse and the technician explained that this is what they do all day long and that it wasn't going to be as bad as I thought. For me, it was just getting over my own hang-ups about it. Good Luck!
i always found the ultrasounds interesting - especially when they tell you what they are seeing... i mean i actually saw the egg that became my baby and i know which ovary it came from... i can still see it...

Nah, not nearly as bad as you imagine. To reduce gushing mess, I used a tampon beforehand. Don't forget to take it out though ;-)
