So the nurse got back with me today. In order to be in the study, I have to be off Metformin for 2 months.
What do you think?
Should I stop the Met and continue to monitor myself for 2 months and then enter the study or should I not do the study and stay on the Met.
Opinions please.

I think you guys have to sit down and think about what's more important. If you go off the met and don't get pregnant between now and then, will you wonder and fret that you would've gotten pregnant if you'd stayed on? If you stay on and don't get pregnant, will you kick yourself for not getting involved in the study? Really, those are the two things that are being weighed, and only you can know which is more important. *hugs*
I think you should go off the Metformin and do the study.
I also gave you a bloggy award. Go check it out!

I personally would come off the met for the sake of being in the study. It would be really interesting to see what the difference in you is when you are off/on it anyway.
If it were me, I think I'd do the study. Letting your body reset to factory settings might be good... And you can still try between now and then, right? You just won't have Met's help? I don't know - it's a tough decision, but I still think I'd go for it.
Does the study get your free monitoring and treatment? Cause that might be worth it.
make sure you ask about what "new" drug they are trying out on you. Remember, you are their lab rat. What are the side effects? Are they trying it out on you to determine the side effects?
Make sure it's safe!
