If I wasn't addicted to the whole idea of a baby in our house before, I have become even more addicted since finding this whole wide world of lesbian moms online.
Now I am no rookie when it comes to reading or writing online journals. I was reading way before I started my own about 6 years ago on diaryland....then I moved over to livejournal. However, this is different. Those blogs were written to keep up with friends, both online and in real life. This one serves a purpose. I want to be able to show our future child what we were thinking as we were undergoing this process of making him/her. I love that other families, that started just like ours, as two women in love, have done the same thing.
I just keep finding more and more and more. I will start reading one, and then see a link for another, and so on. I find myself having to pry myself away from the computer. I just think that all of these families are so amazing. Maybe its because I know that 2-mom families have to be meticulously planned. Whatever the case, I wish I had more time in my day to read these blogs, find more of them, watch the tickers grow, and gush over the adorable kids.

Hey Julie, glad to have you in blogland!
It really is awesome to have an online account of everything you do and feel right now for you kids to read in 10 or 20 years.
Our TTC journey for our 1st was breeze, but the twins were a long and hard-won battle. Motherhood is an amazing experience and you will be there soon. Good luck!
Hey Julie, glad to have you in blogland! It really is awesome to have an onlin hournal that will be here for our kids in 15 or 20 years.
Our TTC journey was a breeze for our 1st, but a long and hard-won battle for the twins. Motherhood is amazing - you'll be there soon. Good luck!
I made really good connections through my blog and even found a couple who live near us who we quickly became very good friends with. Before that we didn't know any lesbian couples with kids in real life and we're thrilled to have them in our lives, not only because they're awesome and we have so much in common, but so that our son can see and spend time with another family like ours. I've found lots of support through my blog and hopefully you will too. Do you mind if I add your blog to my blog roll?
Thanks for de-lurking and good luck on this journey!!
Welcome to lesbian TTC! Good luck on your adventure.
The lesbian mommy blogs are a group of really terrific women. I think I have about 50 of them in my blog roll....
Welcome to the family.
Just found your new blog and wanted to welcome you to blogland but also wish you much success on your journey to motherhood. As ecand3 said, it's an amazing journey. We tried for the love of our lives for 8 cycles and know that we got the baby we were "supposed to". He's the greatest!
I just found your blog tonight. I am not a lesbian mom but I am a bi-sexual mom. I find lesbian moms to be interesting and at times I am often jealous. I always wished I could find a woman partner who I could be a lover and best friends with. I have been searching for some time now and I still have not met "the one". Good luck on your journey.
