The Celebratory Society

Celebratory Soceity

Following the lead of a great gal, N, I have decided to participate in The Celebratory Society.
So what is it? It's an informal, online festschrift.
You comment on people's blogs telling them how they made a difference in your life. Each and everyone of you, through your comments, and cards, and packages, and prayers/well wishes, have made an impact in my life. I often go back and re-read the comments, or your posts. I appreciate you.
So, if you would like, please leave a comment on this here blog telling me/us how I/we made a difference for you. Then, join The Celebratory Society by clicking the link above, so I can do the same for you.

I am so excited that I get to be your first comment on this and that our mutual love of N and her blog brought us together. I've been reading back through your latest posts, getting to know your blog, and I love your honesty and openness.

I am constantly amazed by you - by the both of you. Your strength and humor. The kindness you have shown, reaching out to not just me. I mean, for crying out loud, you sent us gifts for Figment, at a time when, when I was there, the mere idea of somebody being pregnant and getting to take home their baby made me want to pull out ice picks. (And we are being horrible at getting out thank-you cards, but there are not enough thank-yous.)

I don't know how you do it. You are constantly a shining light in my blogroll, even when I'm having the worst of days. Even when YOU are having bad days, your brightness shines through.

I think that you are an incredibly strong woman! You've been through a lot of with your journey to conceive and you are constantly thinking positive. So I get positivity and strength from your blogs! Thank you!

Since I don't know you well (my first visit!) I will tell you what I like from the beginning.

The name of your blog, the way even your short posts are so full of so much emotion that I find myself drawn to reading more.

and last , that in reading what others left here before me, that you are an incredible person. A woman determined that even when life isn't going the way she wants it to...that she can stand up and look it in the eye..love for all she's worth and keep trying.

that's a gift...thanks for sharing it with all of us.

Hi!!!!!!!

I think you rock, did you know that? You are such a wonderful person (well both of you are of course!)

I had been quietly following you for awhile before you spoke up in my comments, and I was so honored to find you there. And then to realize that we know mutual people in "real life"!!! AWESOME!!

You have an amazing amount of strength, and you are even more amazing because you share it with all of us readers.

Thank you!!

This is the first time I've found my way here and I've been sitting here reading your archives. Can I just say I think you are amazing. You are open, honest, and let us in to see it all. You continue to pour your support out and don't ever seem to stop even when you keep getting knocked down. You obviously mean a lot to some other really fabulous people. To put it simply, you ROCK!
