Maybe this will just be an anovulatory month.
If that's the case, how will I know when AF is coming? How can I be prepared?
Today was day 13 of high on the CBEFM. I am still showing negative on the OPKs. Although, they soooooo want to be positive. The lines are there everyday, just not dark enough.
Its frustrating, but oh well. I can't do anything about it, so I will just continue to test until AF arrives.
Today is also back to work for me after having a glorious 2 weeks off. Oh how I love being home. I am not one of those people that get bored when off. I love it. I would make a wonderful housewife. =)
Going back to work will help the slight obsession over OPKs though. I most likely will not do one at school, but instead wait until I get home this evening. Too many other things to keep my mind busy.
Randomly I have been having "hot flashes" these past two weeks. I wonder if that has anything to do with my hormones. Its like an inner heat that radiates throughout my body, and then all of a sudden I am cold again. Yet, the Basal thermometer consistently reads 97.5-97.7 . I guess there is one place my body is consistent.

How frustrating!
If it wasn't for the negative OPKs as well, I'd suggest maybe your thermometer needed a new battery - they can give you flat temps when they're on the way out, apparently.
I've read though that as many as one in four cycles can be annovulatory, so maybe it's not so surprising (bloody annoying though). Not sure what it's likely to do to your period, though - sorry.
I will make a great housewife tooooooooooooooo
I'm sorry to hear that your cycle is being frustrating!
Have you talked to your doctor about Clomid or other ovulation drugs? There ARE side effects of course, but some women choose to go straight for the drugs for a quicker conception... and I've read a lot of women who waited 2, 3, 5 unmedicated cycles to try it... and they all say they wished they had tried it sooner and not wasted those months.
Just a thought...
I wish this was easier for you... you two really deserve this!
I know it extremely frustrating. I had an anovulatory month once, so I feel the pain. But, you could always ovulation later and just have a long cycle. SOOO, don't lose hope! I would recommend doing 2 OPK's A DAY. Seriously. I did one FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, and one between 1pm-4pm. I always limited fluids (if I drank at all) for at least 4 hours. Really, if I hadn't done a 2nd OPK, I wouldn't have caught that surge. Grab some cheapies, and opt for 2 - it will be worth it in the end!
I still am hopeful for you and am sending OVULATION vibes your way!
