Bleeding...again.

So I woke up at 4:20 (don't ya love temping?) to take my temperature and went to the bathroom. I was bleeding like it was CD1. Hmm. I had stopped bleeding for 3 whole days. Nothing.

Here is the timeline:

June 15th-Miscarriage (Let's call this Day 1, just for convienence)-heavy bleeding, passing tissue, cramping
Day 2, heavy bleeding, passing tissue, cramping
Day 3, medium bleeding, passing tissue
Day 4-9, light bleeding, passing shreds of tissue
Days 10-12, just spotting (the brown old stuff)
Day 13, nothing
Day 14, watery cm
Day 15, creamy cm, and extreme fe-motion (different fe-motion than the pregnancy homrone produced)-also started back on Met.for.min.
Day 16 (Today), medium bleeding, passing tissue

However, after I went back to sleep and woke up at 9am, there was hardly anything there, back to light bleeding.

So is this still miscarriage bleeding? or is this the start of our next cycle?

Most likely it's still from the miscarriage. Depending, it may be a while before you ovulate again, and you have to ovulate again before you get your first "real" bleed post-miscarriage. While I do know somebody whose body was gearing up to O as she miscarried, that's by far a rarity, and most people don't ovulate for at least a few weeks after the miscarriage. (They say your beta has to get back down to 0, but I also know people for whom that isn't true.)

*hugs*

I would imagine that it will take a little while to get back to normal. But since I don't really know, I looked online and found this .... "If her miscarriage was devoid of complications, and if her cycle was previously quite regular, she can expect to have a period within a four to six week time frame, from the date of the miscarriage."

Hope that helps!

First of all, I am so, so sorry about what you guys have gone through. I've not been online blog reading for about 2 weeks and am sorry that I was not here sooner to offer words of support and encouragement.

We endured a miscarriage at 13 weeks with Lo's first pregnancy. It was a rough time, a really rough time for us. And I would be happy to talk off line if you ever need to talk outside of blog posts.

We also did not have a D&C, it was recommended that we didn't need one. After the miscarriage, Lo had a few weeks of sporadic bleeding that sometimes we attributed to the miscarriage and sometimes thought it was her period. 4 weeks after the miscarriage, she had excessive bleeding.
Lo ended up in the ER and had a D&C at that point. The original doctor did not think we needed one, but there was some residual calcification that was never going to pass.
I'm not trying to scare you - just telling our personal story. If you are worried about the length of the bleeding, it might be worth having another u/s or asking the ob/gyn if they should double check that you don't need a D&C.

I'm sorry that you are going through this. I hope the miscarriage is totally over and you are able to move on.

Sending love and support.

Hmmm...I'd guess the start of your next cycle, but only your RE should make the call on that one!
