Outpouring of love and support

What an amazing group of friends we have, both in real life and online in this community. You guys are truly awesome. Thank you for all of your kind words, prayers and virtual hugs.

My sister sent us an email today, and in it was this quote:

"When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better."

I know this much is true.

Today was also my first appointment. The doctor seemed just as shocked as we were. We most likely will never know the cause or reasoning behind this. I have to go for an ultrasound tomorrow and will continue to have to have weekly blood draws until my HcG goes down to less than 5. When I arrived at the hospital on Sunday it was 58,000. I really want the physical part of this miscarriage to be over so I can focus my energy on the emotional healing.

The waiting time for that 0 beta can be an emotional challenge. Just try and take it a day at a time, and be good to yourself. We're all here for you. xoxo

I truly believe in the quote that your sister sent you. You may not understand why this happened, but in the future when you are holding your baby I think it will all make sense. I know that thought may not make sense right now.

Sending you lots of love and hugs.
