About 2 months. J was dating someone else at the time of meeting B. That girl was soon gone. =)

J asked B. It went something like this: "I want you to be my girlfriend."

J=29, B=28

J's sister and brother-in law. B's sisters live out of state.

J attended undergrad at the same place where B went for a semester or two, but we did not know each other then, even though we were there at the same time.
