Our Fist BFP: The Pics

I was scared to take one of the super fancy tests today. You know those ones that spell it right out for you.

I was even rationalizing in my brain..."we are only 12DPO"

The "pregnant" popped up very, very quickly. (It's hard to see in the photo, but it's there. Trust me.)

My question for those of you that have had a positive test. When did you stop peeing on tests? I feel like I will need to test forever. I'm so worried. I want to enjoy the moment and relish in the fact that I can get..you know the word, but I'm so nervous.
These are the tests from yesterday. Yes, I took 4.

Congratulations!!!!! We tested at 12dpo and got a blood test the same day. High HCG numbers don't lie!

Yay BFP!! I stopped taking pregnancy tests after the first day, but then again I was going to the RE for betas. Don't know if you are planning to do them. In retrospect, I sort of wish that we hadn't. The stress of waiting for the results sapped all the joy out of the BFP.

SQUEAL!!!
I think I took around 8 tests starting at what would have been 11 days past embryo transfer. Once I had 3 betas I stopped testing.
SO excited for you guys!

Ooh this is so exciting! I've never had a + test, so I can't help with your question... although I've thought the same thing... that when I do see a +, I will want to pee on everything!

OMG WHOA!!!!!! I totally missed this yesterday. Whoooohooooo!! I'm so happy for you two.

I poas until about 24 days dpo. For one thing I was a little paranoid, but for another, I was greedy to see the line get darker and darker and darker until it was way darker than the test line.

Congrats again, and MORE stickie vibes!

As to your question, I POAS about once a week until my 1st appointment. I haven't since.

Even now at 14 weeks, with a small baseball-sized hardness in my abdomen, it hardly feels real. I didn't realize how impatient I could be *after* getting pregnant!

girl, you're pregnant!! I think you can save money on tests, and just believe it! A blood test will probably help convince you. :)

Congratulations! You're definitely pregnant!

I actually only took two HPTs. Seeing the word was enough for me, and then I went to my doctor a couple of weeks later and they confirmed it all with an ultrasound.

Hooray! Hooray! I'm so happy for you.

Congratulations!!! I peed on the tests for two days... and then tried to relax - easier said then done. Congratulations again. This is wonderful news. L

It is the most surreal feeling...working so hard for something and then seeing that line and wanting it to last so bad your hearts aches if you think about it too hard. I took just the two tests on the one day and never took another one. No betas either. What makes it extra 'hard' for us is that we know so much sooner than most straight women.. who may not even know until 6 or more weeks. I just kept telling myself whatever will be will be and I am going to try to enjoy this as much as I can. It doesn't take the fear away, but keeps it from being paralyzing.

Wishing you all the sticky stuff sprout needs. :-)
